Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises resurfacing works will take place at two sites in and around Rotorua during the week beginning Sunday 15 March.

Work will be undertaken at night to reduce the impact on motorists. Delays are expected and motorists are asked to drive with caution.

  • SH30A Amohau Street, between Pukuatua and Ranolf Streets – a lane change will be in place between 7pm and 6am on the night of Wednesday 18 March.
  • SH5 and Springfield Road intersection – Stop/Go traffic management will be in place between 7pm and 6am on the night of Thursday 19 March.

There will be temporary speed limits of 30km/hour in place during the works.

In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, work will be postponed. Any changes will be communicated on NZTA’s traffic website: journeys.nzta.govt.nz(external link)

The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their patience.
