The Ministry of Health can confirm that one further positive test result came through on Wednesday (4 March, 2020) evening.

There’s already a lot of work underway around this case and and we have the processes moving.

We can confirm that this is not the test relating to the husband of the second case.

Details of the case will be provided on Thursday afternoon.

From today (5 March, 2020) the Ministry of Health will give a daily update on testing each afternoon. That is where we will confirm any new cases from now on.
