The following bills were introduced:
- Smoke-free Environments (Prohibiting Smoking in Motor Vehicles Carrying Children) Amendment Bill
- Farm Debt Mediation Bill (No 2).

Budget debate and other Government order of the day
The debate on the second reading of the Appropriation (2019/20 Estimates) Bill (the Budget debate) was adjourned with 4 hours 37 minutes remaining.
The Racing Reform Bill was read a second time.
The committee stage of the Taxation (Annual Rates for 2019–20, GST Offshore Supplier Registration, and Remedial Matters) Bill was completed.
The Administration of Justice (Reform of Contempt of Court) Bill was read a second time. The bill was retitled the Contempt of Court Bill.
The debate on the second reading of the Privacy Bill was interrupted when Chris Bishop was speaking and with ten speeches remaining.
