Papua New Guinea: 7.5 magnitude earthquake
An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.5 has struck 45km North East of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea, the earthquake was also felt in Solomon Islands. New Zealanders are advised to monitor advice from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center for any associated tsunami warning information.
