HONG KONG, CHINA –Media OutReach – December 7, 2017 –MetLifeHong Kong* has won the CorporateCitizenship Award in the prestigious BENCHMARK Wealth Management Awards for thethird consecutive year, recognizing its continuous contributions to the HongKong community. This achievement follows MetLife Hong Kong’s recognition as a“Caring Company” by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.
MetLife Hong Kong won five awards, including the Corporate Citizenship Award at the BENCHMARK Wealth Management Awards 2017.
Mr. Lee Wood, Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Hong Kong, took part in Hong Kong’s Fastest Executive Race 2017.

Mr. Lee Wood, Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Hong Kong, said, “It’s heartening to berecognized year after year for our work in Hong Kong communities by suchprominent organizations. In 2017, MetLife Hong Kong again made significantcontributions by promoting literacy. Most recently, Mr. Wood, on behalf of MetLifeHong Kong, took part in Hong Kong’s Fastest Executive Race 2017, in support ofthe Room toRead’s Literacy Program. This program empowerschildren to gain the basic reading and writing skills they need to start theireducational journey off right. The funds raised by MetLife Hong Kong in theFastest Executive Race 2017 will make education possible for nearly 250children in low-income countries around the world.

Hong Kong’s Fastest Executive Race 2017 washeld on December 1, 2017, and attracted over thirty business leaders racingagainst each other on a 13 km route from Pok Fu Lam Reservoir to Admiralty, allin support of Room to Read.
