Jacqui Robson, the Far North District Council’s General Manager – Infrastructure & Asset Management, has resigned from her role with council.

Chief Executive, Shaun Clarke, confirmed the resignation in an email to staff and elected members this week.

Mr Clarke praised Ms Robson for being an outstanding General Manager in terms of her collaboration within council, and also through her skills in programmes and technical management.

“She will be sadly missed from her General Manager role,” he said.

Ms Robson was appointed the council’s General Manager – Infrastructure & Asset Management in 2014. She came to the council from Auckland Transport where she was a senior manager involved in a number of major transport projects. Ms Robson has almost 25 years of experience as an engineer. She has worked in the United Kingdom, Middle East and New Zealand.

Mr Clarke confirmed that council had begun the process of finding a replacement for Ms Robson.

He said Ms Robson will finish her role at the end of September.
