Announcing two more venues – in Nelson and… Lego City!
The 2016 Show Me Shorts Film Festival is already screening in 23 cinemas across New Zealand from Kaitaia to Stewart Island, and even further south to Antarctica. We’re pleased to announce two additional cinema locations to add to our 2016 programme list, making short films even more accessible!
Last year, the Show Me Shorts Film Festival in Nelson SOLD OUT! We were sad when the wee yurt we screened in was no longer available to us. So we’re super pleased to be bringing it back bigger and better than ever, thanks to the support of the Rata Foundation.
Show Me Shorts will be screening at the newly re-developed Suter Art Gallery. The new digital projector provides outstanding picture clarity and the intimate venue comfortably seats 150 people.
Time and dates: 7:30pm, Saturday 3 December & Sunday 4 December
Location: Suter Cinema, 208 Bridge Street, Nelson
Phone: (03) 548 3885
We are also pleased to announce our newest and smallest venue, thanks to LEGO NZ. You can view and play with The Palace on display at Academy Cinemas in Auckland where Show Me Shorts will be screening until 16 October!
Dates: 2-16 October 2016
Sessions: Secrets and Lies, My Generation, Homeland, Heartstrings, He Tangata, Bump in the Night and Highlights
