Osnat Ita Skoblinkski is the Digital Media Coordinator for B’tselem; The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories. On Monday February 27th Osnat presents a screening of ‘Woman And The Occupation’ Videos taken by Palestinian women volunteering for B’Tselem.

“These videographers document the occupation by directing the camera to their immediate surroundings , often right through their windows, and sometimes within the house itself ,into which reality barges in. For them the camera is a shield, a buffer between them and the harsh reality.”

Please join us at 5:30pm for nibbles and drinks courtesy of Ima Cuisine, traditional Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food.

The event is presented by Dayenu – New Zealand Jews Against The Occupation, Centre For New Zealand Progress and UoA Feminists of Colour
