The NBR New Zealand Opera Company is lifting the curtain on its latest major production – The Bartered Bride.
Smetana’s opera is a romantic comedy with a mystery story that’s finally unraveled with the arrival of a circus – so there’s plenty of singing, dancing and action to engage the audience and challenge the cast.
One of the featured artists in this new production of the Bartered Bride is the Australian soprano, Taryn Fiebig – in the role of the dancer-comedienne Esmeralda.
She’s been here before – as Eliza in a touring production of My Fair Lady, and singing on the television show “Dancing With Stars”…
