1] What level of comfort do you have about the long-term plan that’s been approved for the super-city?

2] Is the right balance being struck in terms of infrastructure priorities such as road-rail-public transport v freshwater supply, wastewater and sewage disposal?

3] What is your assessment of the executive power of the Mayor?

4] How effective is the relationship between Councillors and CCO boards and management?

5] What’s the formal mechanism for ensuring that implementation of CCO strategies is coordinated where one has the capacity to affect the operations of another.

6] Why is there even more separation between the Council and the Port and Airport companies — managed via the [?]
7] How do you see the relationship between CBD Auckland and the outer communities in determining the direction, priorities and identity of the Super-City?

8] What is your view of the degree of autonomy extended to Community Board and the nature of the relationship they have with the Council itself?

9] Has the structure made a difference to the relationship between the City and Central Govt ?

10] Are there areas where legislative change is needed to lift the City’s performance and improve the co-ordination with Central Govt?

11] Do governance arrangements for Transport, Health, Housing, Education and Welfare services across the Super City region require further development?
