5AA Australia: Across The Ditch With Peter Godfrey & Selwyn Manning – Nationals Begin To Slide
5AA Australia: Across The Ditch With Peter Godfrey & Selwyn Manning, Recorded live on 14/06/12.On this week’s Across The Ditch bulletin, Peter and Selwyn discuss how the Auditor General’s office has announced it will investigate the tender process behind the New Zealand Government’s ‘Skycity Casino Convention Centre for gambling law changes’ deal.
Also, New Zealand’s National-led Government has begun to slide in the polls. Both the popularity of the party and that of the Prime Minister has begun to slide.
A recent Reid/TV3 Poll showed a trend has bedded in with support for the Nationals down 4 points to 45 percent support, and John Key dipping from the giddy heights of his popularity of over 50 percent down to 40.5 percent.
Meanwhile support for a Labour/Green coalition has been steadily climbing with the combined support for the two parties climbing to 47.5 percent of those polled.

National are holding their 2012 Conference at the Sky City Conference Centre.
How SHONKY is that?
How good a look for New Zealand – ‘perceived’ to be ‘the least corrupt country in the world’?
(According to Transparency international’s 2011 ‘Corruption Perception Index’ which is based upon the subjective opinions of anonymous business people?)
