This week Peter and Selwyn discuss how the New Zealand Parliament passed legislation permitting the partial sales of publicly owned energy assets to private investment.

The Bill passed by only one vote and has led to opposition parties saying the fight to retain the assets in public control has not yet been lost.

Also, Drug Use. This week the United Nations released a report showing how Australia and New Zealand has the highest rates of cannabis use in the world with up to 14 percent of the populations registering as regular users.

New Zealand also has a concerning trend of higher rates of intravenus drug use than Australia, the USA and Britain and shows similar rates to Belarus and France.
